Hi World! Coming through with a little P.S.A. 🚨🚨🚨

One MAJOR tidbit I've learned during COVID-19 is that NOTHING IS GUARANTEED!

Hear me out ➡️ Shelter, Money, Amenities, Socializing, Health, Life... Employment and the list goes on! These things that we may have taken for granted were stripped from us without notice in the combat against the spread of this virus. I am in no way complaining about any of this. Shout out to our Essential Workers doing their thing on the front lines, risking their own wellness for the rest of us! 💪🏾

Getting back to my point: All this said ... here's your gentle reminder that your employer IS NOT YOUR FRIEND OR YOUR FAMILY 💅. Secure your own bag.

Some aren't fortunate to love their employer(s), occupation, work environments, etc. - but still report out of necessity to provide for their families, or themselves. Either that, or they're fearful of trying to live without a consistent stream of income. Crazy thing is sometimes you give your all to your employer(s), or at a bare minimum your best, and they are not concerned with any aspect of what's best for you or your future - right?! Exactly.

Check out this 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 excerpt from TheFinanceTwins.com. It'll encourage you to put yourself in a position to not be dependent upon your employer(s) or that job you're walking on eggshells to maintain. You know, the one where you constantly chant to yourself "don't check your employer's egotistical behaviors because "you need this job?" Yup, that one! Anywho, this excerpt reminds you that you don't owe anyone anything other than you doing your best while you're working. I am in full support of the saying "If you don't have big dreams and goals, you'll end up working for someone that does." Remember that when you step even the slightest bit of "out of line," with your employer.

Two things for sure, one thing's for certain, you'll be reminded that you and your employer are not friends chileeeee! I've learned my lesson. I give my best at work, NOT my ALL. Read that again! You can find me taking this time to expand on my own entrepreneurial endeavors, outside of remote work for now. Be encouraged! Go start that business 😉
